What is CEDDO

 

CEDDO is the acronym for the Confraternity of Eucharistic Devotion, Diocese of Oakland.

It is a confraternity that is actively responding to the Church’s summons to the new evangelization by:

Offering resources and materials for those wishing to begin or extend Eucharistic adoration in their parishes.
Offering resources to any parish wishing to initiate perpetual Eucharistic adoration.
Promoting diocesan Eucharistic events such as Corpus Christi celebrations, Eucharistic conferences and congresses.

Mission Statement:

To deepen in the Diocese of Oakland,
in its members and the members of this Confraternity, reverence and love for the Holy Eucharist,
by fostering prayer and spiritual growth in
individuals and families, and encouraging, organizing, and participating in various Eucharistic devotions in parishes/deaneries,
which may include, but are not limited to,
Eucharistic processions, Forty Hours Devotion and exposition of the Holy Eucharist,
in collaboration with other organizations.

CEDDO has lots of printable material for your use.  They can be shared with friends and fellow parishioners.  And, with permission of the pastor, they can be left in the Adoration Chapel, or other information areas in your parish.  This material has been well scrutinized to insure accuracy.  You are invited to use this information. 

Please note:  The Confraternity requests that no alterations be made to any material.  Also, the image of the Monstrance is property of the Confraternity.  No reproduction without written permission.

CEDDO  has made available its Confraternity Prayer cards (copy shop ready) for your convenience.  For uniformity, cards are 2-1/4" x 3" (Include 1/8" white border on all sides.  Final cut size: 2-1/2" x 3-1/4".  The prayer cards are available in the following languages:
